Please read these terms before you send an enquiry. They explain that Aurevia provides guidance and that an insurer, not this website, issues any policy.
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of the Aurevia website at xckjmt4.com and the guidance we describe here. By using the pages, sending a form, or asking for a quote review, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not send an enquiry. You may still read the public guides.
The words 'Aurevia', 'we', and 'our' mean the guidance desk that publishes this site. 'You' means the person using the site. 'Insurer' means a separate company that may issue a policy. We are not that company merely because we helped you read a quote.
What Aurevia provides
We provide explanations of common insurance themes, written briefs that compare features you tell us matter, and email support under the guidance plans on the pricing page. The themes include home, life, health, car, travel, business, fire and property damage, and income protection. A review can cover one theme or the way several themes overlap.
Guidance is educational and practical. It is shaped by the facts you give us. It is not a guarantee that a particular policy is the best available, that a premium is the lowest in the market, or that a future claim will be paid. Markets move, and wording differs between insurers.
We may decline an enquiry that sits outside our themes, that needs regulated advice we are not in a position to give on the facts supplied, or that arrives without enough information to be useful. If we decline, we will say so by email rather than leave you waiting.
This website does not itself issue cover
Nothing on these pages is an offer of insurance, a binder, or a confirmation of cover. Buttons labelled as quotes request a conversation or a brief. They do not start a policy. Cover, if you buy it, begins only when an insurer confirms acceptance under its own process, which may include payment, disclosures, and conditions you must meet before the start date.
Examples, case notes, and testimonials describe how a review felt to the person who wrote them. They are not a promise that your result will match. A loss that occurs before an insurer has accepted cover is not protected by our emails.
If any sentence on the site could be read as a promise that a claim will be paid, that sentence is a drafting error. The insurer's policy wording, schedule, and endorsements control the claim. Ask us to correct the sentence, and rely on the contract rather than on the page.
Quotes, illustrations, and your facts
Figures we discuss may come from you, from a document you paste into an email, or from a public example. An illustration is only as sound as those inputs. If a sum insured, a birth date, a use of a vehicle, a medical condition, or a description of business activity is incomplete or wrong, the comparison can point the wrong way, and an insurer may later treat the application as unfairly presented.
You agree to take reasonable care that the facts you send are accurate, and to tell us if something material changes while a review is open. Material, in ordinary language, means a fact that would influence whether an insurer offers cover or the terms on which it offers cover. If you are unsure whether a fact is material, tell us anyway.
We may summarise wording to make it readable. A summary can miss a nuance. Before you buy or cancel anything, read the insurer's document yourself, especially the exclusions, the excess, the conditions, and the definition of the event that triggers payment.
Guidance plans and fees
The pricing page lists monthly fees for Aurevia's support. Those fees are not insurance premiums. An insurer's premium is a separate charge, billed by the insurer, for a contract we do not control. Paying us does not pay your premium, and paying a premium does not pay our fee.
The first look at a short question sent through the contact form does not require a plan. If the work becomes a full brief, we will identify the plan before a monthly fee starts. You may cancel a guidance plan by emailing hello@xckjmt4.com before the next month begins. Cancellation stops future guidance fees. It does not cancel, change, or replace an insurance policy.
Fees are displayed on the pricing page in the currency shown there. If a figure on a page and a figure in an email disagree, ask us which one is current before you pay. We will confirm in writing.
Acceptable use of the website
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to break the pages, probe them for weaknesses, overload them, or disguise the origin of a message. Do not send unlawful content, content that infringes someone else's rights, or content that harasses any person, including our advisors.
Do not submit another person's personal information unless you have a proper reason to enquire on their behalf and you are willing to tell them you have done so. A household enquiry should come from an adult in that household. A business enquiry should come from someone allowed to speak for the business.
You may not copy the site's guides into a product you sell as your own advice. You may quote a short passage, with credit to Aurevia and a link to the page, for a genuine discussion. If you want a wider licence, email us first.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, logo, and original graphics on this site belong to Aurevia or are used with permission. The name Aurevia and the shield mark are our brand. You may not use them in a way that suggests we issued a policy, endorsed a product, or are a partner of yours, unless we have agreed in writing.
Photographs on the site show everyday people, homes, and work. They illustrate themes. They are not pictures of our clients unless a caption says so, and a resemblance to a real client is not intended. Trademarks of insurers are not ours, and a mention of a type of cover is not a use of any insurer's brand.
Third parties
Insurers, comparison tools, and other websites are independent of Aurevia. If we mention a type of contract, we are describing a category. We are not appointing you as a customer of a named insurer by doing so. Any application you make is between you and that insurer, on that insurer's terms.
We are not responsible for an insurer's decision to offer, refuse, price, or pay. We are responsible for the care of our own guidance: for reading what you sent, for not inventing terms the document does not contain, and for correcting a brief when you show us a mistake.
Disclaimers
The site is provided in good faith as a guidance resource. Guides can become incomplete when products change. We review notable pages, but we do not promise that every paragraph is current on the day you read it. Check dates, and ask us if a decision depends on a sentence.
To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties that the site will be uninterrupted or error free. We do not exclude liability that the law does not let us exclude, including liability for fraud or for injury caused by negligence where such an exclusion would be invalid.
Limitation of liability
If we are liable for a loss that arises from our guidance, and the law allows a limit, our total liability for a single enquiry is limited to the guidance fees you paid to Aurevia for that enquiry in the three months before the loss arose. If you paid no fee, our liability is limited to the cost of preparing a corrected brief.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a premium you chose to pay, for a policy you chose to cancel, or for a claim an insurer refused, except where that outcome was caused by our failure to pass on a fact you had clearly given us and the law does not allow us to exclude that result.
Nothing in this section limits a duty we cannot limit. Nothing in this section makes us the insurer of your home, health, vehicle, trip, life, or business.
Your responsibility at the point of purchase
Before you buy, renew, or cancel, you remain responsible for reading the contract, for answering the insurer's questions honestly, and for keeping the conditions the policy sets, such as maintaining a lock, an alarm, or an inspection where the wording requires it. Our brief can highlight those conditions. It cannot keep them for you.
If you need advice that takes account of your full financial circumstances, tax position, or a dispute already underway, tell us at the start. We may tell you the website review is the wrong tool and that you should speak with a specialist. That refusal is part of the service, not a failure of it.
Suspension and changes to the site
We may change, pause, or remove pages, forms, or plans. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. The updated terms apply to use of the site after that date. A guidance plan already underway continues on the terms that applied when you started it, unless a change is required by law or you agree to the new terms.
We may suspend email replies during the advisory hours listed on the site when the desk is closed, and we may take longer than one business day when an enquiry is unusually complex. The one-day figure is an aim, not a warranty.
Messages, subscribe, and unsubscribe
Forms on this website check that required fields are complete and that an email address is shaped like an email address. They then show a confirmation in your browser. That confirmation is not, by itself, proof that an advisor has read the message. If your matter is time-sensitive, also write to hello@xckjmt4.com and keep a copy.
You may subscribe to updates and you may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing stops update emails. It does not delete an open quote review. If you want both, say so in the message. Details of how subscription data is handled are described in the privacy policy, which you should read alongside these terms.
General
If a court finds that one sentence of these terms cannot be enforced, the other sentences remain. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. These terms are the whole agreement about use of the website, and they replace earlier website terms on the same subject.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@xckjmt4.com with the subject 'Terms'. We reply by email. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address for service of these questions; written email keeps a clear record of what was asked and what was answered.
